I'm in LOVE with Bar Max! I stumbled upon their website while searching for a late night "coffee shop" and found Euro Heaven... on Colfax of all places! From the photo's I thought it might be a bit too cold and modern for my snuggly soul but what I discovered to my delight last night was a simply divine, cozy, candlelit, jazz-filled, delicious, feel good everything that you crave for a sophisticated, Soho type, big city hang out. A new, hidden gem on Colfax! Cafe Max disrupts what we've come to expect of Colfax cafés and bars -- it offers everyone a clean, minimalist, artistic escape from your ordinary espresso stop. Great wines too! Definitely worth an hour of your time.
This is a wonderful place to go to and relax, have a glass of wine or a panini, and hang out with friends. They also have late hours, which I love. Try the healthy hipster drink and the goat milk latte!
