The woman at register behind the counter on December 11th, 2018 at 1203pm was one of the rudest unprofessional persons I have ever come across. I was informed that since I did not buy food at the establishment I would not be able to sit down and eat my own personal food. Which was fine rules are rules. I totally understand she proceeded to reiterate the fact another 4 times each time in a more disrespectful tone. I've been to several events catered by Cafe George by Paula as well as having been to the cafe itself. Impressed is an understatement for the food and service.
Haven't been to the Cafe itself, but I have been to quite a few events catered by Paula. The food was all well prepared and inventive.
Cafe George has been my go-to for lunch almost every day for 2 1/2 years. Paula and her staff are amazing and know many of their customers on a first name basis. She has gone out of her way when I request my favorite salads to be on the menu. The only downfall is that I have too many options to choose from as everything is delicious.
I have been going to Cafe George since they opened. I find the food excellent with so many different options you could eat here every day and never have to eat the same thing in a months time.There are always different specials every day . I have been to different functions at this restaurant and had my daughters wedding shower here and the owner Paula is very accommodating and an accomplished chef with wonderful options for catering needs. owner has an attitude problem...no customer svc skills...nickel and dimes...have a $5 minimum on card purchases...food sounds good but tastes ok which is disappointing based on the descriptions...i only go there because it's the only place to eat In the building and I'm pregnant so walking somewhere else is quite difficult at 9 months. I've seen her act rude on several occasions and the fruit and onions are cut with the same knife..#yuk the building needs another option..id rather go to the vending machine at this point
Cafe George is an awesome resturant run by great staff and a dedicated, loving and hardworking owner. If you haven't stopped in yet I would definitely check it out and eat some amazing food.
