I started going to Cafe flore in 1993. It quickly became my favorite place to go. It was warm and welcoming and the food was good the service was friendly and always alot of fun. It was the start of a long love affair. Fast forward to today 2014. Today was the day I decide to break up with cafe flore. The food was gross. It looks like the place has changed hands, and I am very sad to say that the new management is off to a very rough start. Food was as mediocre as it has always been, but the service was terrible. No longer feels warm and welcoming. Just another bad Castro restaurant.
Everything was just awful today. They changed the way you order so that you have to wait on a server, who never comes. We waited forever just to get a menu. Also, the menu has progressively gotten worse in recent months. Not sure what's going on here but it needs to change again stat.
