During the summer, you can enjoy your meal outside beneath the towering pines. For a hearty meal, try the Cappellini Bocconcini made with meatballs, fresh tomato and basil. This gem was an incredible experience. Quaint and cozy and romantic, and the food was ridiculously good. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The puréed carrots were decadent, and the filet was perfect. Their wine list is extensive, as well. Make sure to make a reservation because they only have a handful of tables inside and a handful outside. We will absolutely go back next time we are in Tahoe.
Fabulous atmosphere, tremendous fare, friendly & attentive service! A memorable meal, (veal cooked perfectly w fresh mushrooms, fresh made pasta w a medley of seafood in a vodka reduction), capped by their unique take on white chocolate ice cream! Very well done!
Food was absolutely delicious! I had the Pollo ala Sonora. It was absolutely delicious! Chicken is cooked with artichoke and mushrooms on a wine sauce. Mmm, I want to go back! Service was great! Place is small, make sure you make reservations as soon as you know you’ll be in S Lake Tahoe.

Atmosphere was excellent, ordered a smoked salmon and eggplant appetizer that blew our mind. Had a meatball pasta dish that although well prepared, it was not on the level of what I expected. On the other hand, we also ordered a pasta with fettuccini, sun dried tomatoes, and artichokes that blew our minds. All in all, a great restaurant with an amazing staff.... I was very much underwhelmed with the food available in South Tahoe... this place is an absolute exception as it was great!
We love this place. I have never had a bad meal. Their food is excellent. My husband looks forward to their white chocolate ice cream with fruit every time we go.
