Amazing neighborhood cafe...great food, atmosphere and service! – We LOVE Cafe Ena...great atmosphere. Service has always been great...fast, knowledgable, friendly and unobtrusive. Also love the concept of supporting a wonderful local establishment in the heart of a neighborhood. The Food: AMAZING and unique! I haven't had anything less than yummy yet. Their ceviche is one of my favorite appetizers anywhere.
Excellent food and great service – I visited Ena with my wife and we were very happy. Ena offers an intimate decore, an excellent service and a very good menu. The blend in flavours, where an authentic fiesta in my mouth. I will for sure go back to Cafe Ena.
Excellent food and service! – My husband and I went to Cafe Ena for the first time this past Saturday night. The food was excellent and the service was top notch! Our waiter, Alberto, was very knowledgable about the entire menu and very personable. The menu was very diverse and we had a hard time choosing...everything sounded so good. I decided on the scallops with coconut risotto. It was outstanding! The atmosphere was very cozy and romantic. We tried the Sangria, which was great, except Alberto told us it was made minus th... read more
Overall, 9/10! – Went on a Monday evening, so not very busy. Got a table right away. Our server was prompt from the initial greeting, to bringing us the check. AMAZING food. We fancy ourselves connoisseurs of calamari. It was probably a 7/10. The salads (Cesar and Cardel) were also 7/10. Interesting flavors for the dressings, and not too heavy. The entrees however were a 10/10. I got the seared ahi on mashed potatoes with asparagus and my husband got the scallops on coconut risotto. They were phenomenal. Great textures. Grea... read more
They nailed it! – Thank you for taking the time to read this review - I hope you find it worth the time. My gal and I fancy ourselves as foodies and we eat out at least twice a week. We had tentatively planned to visit Solera but she suggested that I pick something else - and I found Cafe Ena on Opentable. Jeans are perfect, but you can also dress up if you want. The reviews of Cafe Ena on Citysearch seem to be improving with every passing month, and they are very deserving of such high accolades. We showed up at 9:00 PM for... read more
excellent food and service! (try the Monk fish mmm, mmm good) – after visiting the rest. last night feel i need to leave a review after reading a few of the above - had excellent food and service - was very busy of course on a full friday evening but couldn't tell as we were treated well. Walked in for our res - table ready in 5 minutes, had a great bottle of wine while we waited. Then the food was good from appetizer to the end. The Monk fish was my favorite (am a little biased as that was my dish)! will be going back for s... read more
Love this place! – My husband and I have been to Cafe Ena two times - once this past summer and then again in November. Both dining experiences were delightful. The first time we had not made reservations and had to wait about an hour but it was a beautiful night and got to explore the neighborhood. When we returned we were able to enjoy a glass of wine from their great selection and were then seated. The ambience is cozy and people watching is great. The food is definitely the high point, it is to die for! They use wonderfu... read more
Great New Restaurant in the Neighborhood – The food was great, we had appetizers - they were awesome and my meal and the other four meals were equally good. I have also been there with my kids 6 and 8 and they love it - they can have original orange pop from Mexico and cheese quesadillas they were satisfied. The wine we had was also good. I wish they served some of their bottled wine by the glass - but over all all three times I have been there have been very good
Lousy service, high prices, small portions; food okay – We dropped by Cafe Ena for Friday lunch. Restaurant busy but not unusual for Friday lunch in the city. Very slow service. Waited long time to give order, to get order, and get bill. Finally went to counter to get bill. Waiter couldn't answer basic questions about the menu. Hung around saying "I don't know" until we gently suggested he ask someone in the kitchen. Didn't ask us how we wanted something cooked. Waiter brought us food meant for another table. Salad came miss... read more
