We were there Sunday night. Great food and amazing guitar player with back up hand drummer. Had a great seat closest to the street so we were able to take in the views as well. Oh, and definitely hit up the 2-4-1 HUGE drinks.
The worse place I ever went. The food was so bad and overpriced, the wine so expensive and I will never come back to this restaurant. Stay away for this place. The guy which he supposed to play on the guitar took more then 1 hour break. I am very disappointed about this restaurant.
Our experience was great...great dinner (the sea bass and mussels were prepared superior), service and the live entertainment on Saturday evening was superb!!
My husband and I went this past Saturday. Decided to go to Las Olas for dinner. Found Cafe Del Mar has the best ambiance for our dinner. The entertainment was fanrastic has the greatest time with the music and show. Excelkent dinner with giant drinks. Great night we will go back
We always enjoy our meals here whether it's lunch or dinner! Our waitress was excellent!! We will return!!

Whenever I have out of town guests I always bring them here. The running joke is "the service is mediocre at best, but the food and location make up for it!" The food and drinks really are tasty and they never disappoint. On my most recent trip a couple of days ago I was shocked to see a $25 "entertainment fee" added to my bill. I had never been charged this before. As a matter of disclosure this should be displayed at their hostess stand. We were in Fort Lauderdale for work meetings and we had Friday night to ourselves, so we decided to have dinner out in the beach bar scene. Sine I had been to town twice in the past 2 years I was nominated to find the right place. We had dinner at Cafe del Mar in 2014 and enjoyed it, so what the hell. Worse food I have ever had, the steak was horrible it was definitely a cheap cut, to top it off there is a hidden 20% fee I would recommend starvation over this dump
