Fabulous lunch spot in midtown Sacramento. The salads are so fresh and yummy. You must try the mushroom and jarlsberg cheese!
Love this place. It has a great atmosphere both inside and outside- the patio is beautiful when the weather is nice! They serve breakfast until about 10am (later on weekends, I think). Their lunch and dinner options are really good, and they usually have some new options on the menu every few weeks.

You can never go wrong here. Their food concoctions are great. You read the big blackboard and you have a heck of time trying to figure out what you want, because the menu is just chuck full of stuff. Thumbs up here anytime of the day.
Cafe Bernardo,Davis As usual we tried to eat at 8:45 and they were closed even though they advertise a closing time of 10PM on work days an 11 PM on week ends. Also the food does not compare to Bernardo's in downtown Davis. What is with this? The people are great. We eat out every day twice a day. Please let us see some improvement.
Nice atmosphere, so-so food – My wife had been wanting to try Cafe Bernardo for quite some time, and we finally went last night to give it a shot. The atmosphere inside the dining area and on the patio was really pretty cool, very fun. Unfortunately, when we got our food (cheeseburger and a Cesar salad), we were greatly disappointed. Cafe Bernardo Good food and not too pricey. The food is "California Cuisine" and it is done well. The restaurant has a nice wine list. The staff is very nice. It is a small local chain and they really know what they are doing.
Always a good meal – I have been there at least 3 times and have always been happy with both the food and service. This is most certainly one of the best spots in downtown to eat.
