Cafe Bernardo Good food and not too pricey. The food is "California Cuisine" and it is done well. The restaurant has a nice wine list. The staff is very nice. It is a small local chain and they really know what they are doing.
Cafe Bernardo,Davis As usual we tried to eat at 8:45 and they were closed even though they advertise a closing time of 10PM on work days an 11 PM on week ends. Also the food does not compare to Bernardo's in downtown Davis. What is with this? The people are great. We eat out every day twice a day. Please let us see some improvement.
Fun Place to Eat I have met the chef for this eatery and I must admit he knows his stuff and it comes through his kitchen. You are guarenteed a good meal. Great breakfasts that's for sure. Not a sit down order style. Get in line, order and take your card. The server will bring your meal. The decor is nice and pleasant with outside seating which can be nice if not to hot weather wise. Prices are high but that's what you pay for. PROS: Great Breakfasts CONS: pricey
I waited 15 to 20 mins to be able to place an order. By that time, it was about 5 after 11 am. Which is their cut off for ordering breakfast. However, there was a party of 7 women before me who all got to order breakfast and who paid separately. All I wanted was two side orders, but the manager refused to accommodate me regardless of the extenuating circumstances, which were obviously their slow service and lack of staffing.
After touring many local museums we stopped here for an early dinner on museum day. We received a discount for showing our museum day sticker, and I had the best veggie burger I've ever eaten!
We went to Cafe Bernardo before an event at the Golden One Center. It was a short walk down K Street. The best is they have vegetarian selections and I was able to get a delicious cheeseburger!
t6his place has the best carrot cake. I always grab a slice along with a couple other specialty deserts when going to a dinner party.
One of my favorite places to go, especially for breakfast. The menu has something for everyone. The patio is great and they are super dog friendly. There are a couple locations , but the one on capital proves to be the best one every time.
Love the food at Cafe Bernardo! The salads are wonderful, Thai noodle is yummy! I really miss having one in Roseville!
