Great place to eat in Buckhead! – This restaurant is great! They have a new chef and gourmet menu. You can go in and have a relaxed dinner in the Cafe followed by a drink at the bar or even head upstairs to catch a band. Plus, they finally added Sunday Brunch-which is awesome especially sitting in the courtyard!
NOT WORTH IT!!! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! – Some friends and I wanted to try some place new and we had been to Andrew's Upstair's before, so we liked the atmosphere. The courtyard was pretty but our waitress took a HALF HOUR to even get our drink order. We ordered an appetizer when she FINALLY dropped off our drinks. We had finished our appetizer and our martini's and beer, waited 15 minutes and she came over and took our order. Terrible... just plain terrible – A group of friends and I went there on a Saturday night after making reservations, and we all left sorely dissapointed. 1) The waitress was a witch with a capital B. It's possible she was knowledgeable about the food and the wine, but you would never know it due the short and snooty answers she gave us. 2) The place is LOUD. Eh.. – My girlfriend and I went here on a Saturday for a night out. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is nice. They even have a small "courtyard" area outside for dining. Our reservation was met accordingly and we even got a booth. The waitress, however, did not seem happy that we didn't drink. After that, the only person that came to our table was a food runner and the water boy. They have a variety of "small plates." We mixed and match four of them. Not that good – This restaurant definitely did not live up to the descriptions on Citysearch. I wouldn't categorize this as a "romantic" destination with all the loud music coming from the bar and the ever thumping music coming through the ceiling from the band upstairs. The decorations weren't anything special-lots of glass and no tablecloths. This place is great... – If you have not tried this restaurant, you should go. What a nice surprise!
Server not sure – Based on earlier review by someone else, we decided to go for the chef's sampler. No one seemed to know what we were talking about. When ordering wine we ordered one bottle, when it came for the second bottle we were told they were out and the waiter attempted to up grade us to a much more expensive bottle, but suddenly when we ordered something less expensive they found 2 more bottles of the wine we wanted. This is not 30+ crowd – The crowd is very young. It is 21 - 27, but the food is very good.
I wish it hadn't been raining!! – It was unfortunate that it was raining when I went to this place, because they have a delightful outside area! The dining room was nice and dark, very romantic. I went for my birthday with my boyfriend, and while we didn't proclaim that it was my birthday, the waitress was attentive enough to notice and I got a FANTASTIC dessert on the house. The drinks are amazing--I reccomend the raspberry lemontini and the kir royal. The sesame seared tuna and the spinach salad are to die for! Can't wait ... read more
