Cafe Angelique was founded in 2002 with its first location in NYC, and currently has four locations in New York City and New Jersey. The idea behind opening the café came from our love to gourmet coffee and high quality pastries and food. With all this and with us being passionate about aesthetic and design we tried to bring a taste of Europe to all the Coffee lovers. After much research, we selected gourmet quality items as well as the freshest and finest ingredients to all our menu dishes.

Cafe Angelique We had Cafe Angelique every morning during our recent trip to New York. They made good chai latte. The baked goods were hit or miss. Some were really good and some were really dry.
Excellent baked goods Angelique opens at the crack of dawn and has great coffee and a huge selection of delicious pastries. So much better than Starbucks. Nice atmosphere and old world feel.
Favorite Hangout Spot – This place has a great atmosphere! The staff is very friendly and really get to know their regulars which I truly appreciate. They also always have the best cookies! There is a chocolate chunk vegan cookie that EVERYONE must try! Coffee is good and they have all organic teas. This a great place to meet a friend for coffee and dessert or if you're in the mood for a tasty salad during lunch. The salads are huge and I usually end up taking some of it home for dinner as well.
best neighborhood place – great sandwiches nice atmosphere to hang out in if you're looking to read or hang out a bit
Want to like it but price and bad attitude aren't worth a visit – I really want to like Cafe Angelique. With so few lunch choices in this area, and Starbucks and their dirt-tasting coffee being the only brew around, I'd really love an alternative. It seems whether I visit Angelique during the busy morning rush, or a quiet mid-afternoon, the staff is not friendly, and rush you out. Asking about baked goods seems to really annoy them, and when you charge $5 for a small coffee and cookie, it better be good. I've worked in Manha... read more

Friendly, great atmosphere, good coffee too – SOMEHOW, despite being right here in the village, this long time coffee house avoids TOURISTA disease! They are friendly, and non-pushy, and the coffee is very very good - and you can sit at the BACK and watch the tourists - they're open late, and they make up for the sadness of the Rafaella closing.
starbucks woudln't be such a monopoly if there were more places like Cafe Angelique – good coffee. good food. good service. great atmosphere. special secret tip: their awesome sandwiches are half-price after 7pm.
