Best place to get fancy food on a lunch break downtown. Go there. Do it.
Excellent food and very friendly staff. The polenta wings..AMAZING.
An incredibly friendly and welcoming staff, Cafe 59 is a wonderful place to have a delicious meal and delightful drinks. Everything they serve is perfectly flavored and I would suggest it to everyone I know!
There was a table of at least 12 men there drinking alcoholic beverages. Tlthe tone was just before noon. They were so loud and obnoxious that you couldn't hear yourself think. The waitstaff nor the manager did anything to attempt to make it quieter like maybe ask the guys to keep it down so other patrons could enjoy their meal. First time there and not sure I'll go back. Food was good but waited forever for our food.
I stopped in after passing by daily for years. The atmosphere was decent. There were only 2 other patrons in the restaurant when I got there. I had the soup of the day which was decent enough. My chicken sandwich was delicious but the handful of chips were stale. My drink was good. I think I was forgotten about because the bar area got busy while I was there. Overall decent experience, I just won't be rushing back.
I agree. As good as the chocomouse Robert Kaerts males in Belgium. Congrats.
A big 5 for us. And a 6 for the Belgian chocomousse. Tested by a Belgian family of 'connaisseurs'
Enjoyed chicken & waffles on the patio with a great screwdriver. Fun, friendly bartender/server and great people watching!
