LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! It's the best place for non-vegans to take vegans who are from out of town. You each get a different Ethiopian sampler and both leave very full and happy strolling down Mount Vernon Avenue to see the charming shops in Del Ray.
Great food, great service at the neighborhood restaurant in Del Ray. I recommend the Ethiopian sampler tray -- both the meat and vegan vegetables were great. Great injera.
Great place to est breakfast (inside or outside). The staff is friendly, quick, and smiles. The coffee is great and both the oatmeal raisin cookies and BLT sandwiches are the world's best. You can't find a better place in Alexandria to chill with coffee or something else while surfing the net / checking email with Caboose WiFi. See you at Caboose. Call ahead and ask Kremans, Viola, or Rhoda to save your favorite sest for you.
