This place is a must stop for us every time we go to Charlotte. Always a treat.
Great place. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was awesome. Love the corn salsa that comes with the free chips. Their skinny margarita was tasty. You can mix up your two tacos so both don’t have to be chicken or pork or whatever. I had both of their daily taco specials: pork belly and fried clams, and both were delicious. And the bean salad side was very good as well.

As a self-described fish taco conniseure, I literally try fish tacos everytime I see them on a menu in any city, anywhere. And, for me, Cabo’s FT is a destination visit. Simply put, if I’m in Charlotte, I make it a point to go and they never disappoint. While Tavaroo Tuna Tacos are a solid #1, it’s by a narrow margin as the nightly specials always offer up something amazing (grouper, swordfish etc). We got the Tuna Burrito & Carne Asada Burrito and split it and it was awesome! Also loved the avocado pasta salad. Yum! Always good food!
I have heard so many great things about this place but I went for lunch today and it did not live up to the hype for me. The place was packed for sure and it took like 15 minutes just to get our drinks. I ordered Serrano chicken tacos and I know the place was packed but it still took forever to get the food and when it came the chicken was cold and really if it wouldn’t have been loaded down with sauce, the chicken had no flavor .
