Released my mother from therapy without doctor involvement or discussion with the family. Deemed not following directions at times as the reason and felt they could not continue therapy (stroke patient) and would not progress any more. No follow up on past conversations. Never updated doctor or family about stopping therapy. Speaking with whoever is in the room constitutes communication without any regard who the audience is.
