Super disappointed in this place. They strap weights to your injury and tell you to lift it # of times and walk away from you. When you explain that it causes your injury pain, but you could do something modified they just look at you like a dog when you pump fake a tennis ball. Then they tell you you’re done with your exercise, but don’t tell you what to do next (another exercise? massage? Heat? Stem? Schedule next appt? Pay?) I will be looking to change my PT with my workers comp, but we know how that goes.

At age 23, I had an ACL and meniscus tear reconstruction surgery at this orthopaedic facility and then had my PT here every week for 5 months. I was initially worried that after my surgery, I would never perform in sports and physical activities the same way again. However, the PT team (and shout out Dr. Erwteman as well) supported me, reality checked me, made sure I was patient with recovery, and brought me back better than ever. We all know how stressful recuperating from a major surgery (total knee replacement) can be. After the first week at home, Physical Therapy reached out to me and asked where you? I had to explain that due to poor planning I do not have any crutches to move about and plus maneuver my stairs to attend. I assumed that I should have such crutches for our next session. The next session arrived, and still no... read more

I am very grateful to Shane and his assistants Carly, Dana and Claudia for guiding me through my rotator cuff rehab. Also to Francesca for overseeing and evaluating my progress. Very positive environment. Very supportive even when patients are hurting and difficult to deal with. This one could observe as it is an open work area. Great communication during therapy. I kept progressing each and every visit. Overall a very good experience during a very difficult time.

After receiving a Shoulder Surgery in May I have been going to California Orthopedic Institute for Physical Therapy now for 9 weeks. It has been the best Therapy I could imagine with amazing Therapist to help keep me on track toward recovery and a full functioning shoulder in a few more weeks.
