Poor communication regarding procedure, little to no pain control. Swelling, numbness, pain weeks after procedure.
Dr. Meek is the best dentist I've ever known, with outstanding chair-side manner and excellent, professional staff. My wife, and other friends we have referred to him, would agree.
Dr. Meek has been my dentist since moving to Austin. I have never had a better dentist and recommend him to anyone seeking an excellent, honest, easy to talk with, skilled and pain-free dentist. I don't fear going to him, and that is big for me.
This dentist does not take well to having his recommendations questioned. Nor is he terribly sympathetic to issues with pain (I asked if I could have nitrous prior to an injection and was refused in a rude, dismissive way.) I found this dentist to be impatient, autocratic and all-around unpleasant. If you like such qualities in the person who will be working on your mouth and to whom you will pay a lot of money, then Dr. Mike Meek is the one for you!
Very personable, easygoing, and caring manner. Didn't feel I had enough time to ask questions. Felt I was being hurried out.
I hated going to the dentist before I was a patient of Dr. Meek's. I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The office is very nice, clean, and comfortable. All of the staff members are very nice and courteous. I feel that Dr. Meek truly cares about his patients. He takes time to sit and talk to you about whatever problems you might be having.
