Sent an email to the superintendent today about my concerns with the road conditions and having school yesterday...I am proud to say I received a call from Tricia Murphy-Alderman this evening to address my concerns....Love our Byron Schools!
When I was about to register my first born for kindergarten, my mom gave me a piece of advise.. she said, "you will know you have a great school and that you are an involved enough parent when you call the school and all you have to provide is your first name." A seemingly small piece of advise, but I am happy to report, for 11 years now, I've never had to use my last name when calling, more because of the staffs care for the children and desire to know each of them individually, than my involvement I must admit.
