Byrnie Utz Hat's is totally unique Even if you never wear a hat you should stop in here sometime when you're in the area. The whole store feels like a throwback to an era when ALL men and women were fashionable only with a chapeau perched sharply on top. But everything is clean, and new, and well organized. Byrnie Utz Hat's is unique for Seattle I have a hat I bought on vacation and it really needed a new hat band. That is not something most department stores carry, so I finally wondered in this little hat store I have walked by for years. What a fun adventure.

Only hat shop in Western Washington that I know of. An excellent one as well. It was an amazing example of what a shop should be... high quality products and caring attentive staff. It is greatly missed.
Truly a unique Seattle experience. The helpful staff knows their inventory, history, and are eager to help you find the perfect chapeau. I am fortunate enough to have purchased three hats from Byrnie Utz hats before they close their doors and they are sorely missed.
