Not have doctors outside of same network as the hospital. And use the insurance information given to them at service. They messed up our insurance claim for cleaning a simple dog bite. Now we have to contact the doctor separately to fix the insurance thing. Oh and bill for about 2 hours time of a hand cleaning and a tetnus shot was 1500 from the hospital and another 750ish from the doctor who glanced at it for 2 mins and left. typical medical robery
Recommendedmy five month old daughter was admitted for RSV and pneumonia and stayed on the second floor. All of the nursing staff and other staff were wonderful. They were very supportive informative friendly. it made a very scary time just a little bit easier to deal with. my daughter is home now thankfully and is feeling a lot better. thank you to Bridget and Kevin and Doug and Erica and Heidi Jennifer Susan Shawna and everyone else who saw my baby girl.
Thursday evening my dad arrived in the emergency room he was weak in the legs. And feet. Was feeling really bad. Very lathargic. After 4 hours there, was told nothing was wrong. Friday my mother called an ambulance and we headed to Cabrini. Upon arrival they did x-ray of the brain, BLOOD WORK, spinal tap, TEE. All said and done. He has Gram positive bacteria, blood clot on the spine. I brought my son in before noon today we have been here over 8 hours and the daytime cna has been the only person to keep checking on him. They fed him before noon but he is super hungry ,as am I, and they all just sit at the nurses desk and tell jokes. Since shift change not one single person has been in here! This is probably why all the suicides around here you go in for help and they just put you off in a room! Instead of actually helping you! I’ll be calling the hospital administrator tomorrow! One unhappy mama!!!!!
