I've gone to Byrd dental for several years...10+. I've had a fair amount of work done. Fantastic place. Clean and professional. I absolutely trust them with their suggestions and quality of work. It is terribly disappointing that my companies new insurance isn't one they take...Aetna. I plan to check back periodically hoping their policies change. I would love to go back.
This was my dentist group for several years and had spent maybe about 12k total for all the work I’ve needed done. I had an accident at work and knocked out a tooth workman’s compensation covered it but Dr.Byrd talked me getting a partial denture instead of an implant to fix the tooth, well got the partial and then had issues…Dr.Byrd didn’t tell me that the crown that he anchored it too was bad and it gave me a really bad infection for about 2 months. I had a great experience at Byrd Dental today. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel Welcoming and well taken care of. The dental hygienist, Brandon, was absolutely stellar professional, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly kind. Brandon made sure I wasn’t nervous or afraid and truly took the time to care for me. He completed my X-rays and explained everything very thoroughly, answering all of my questions with patience and clarity. Dr. Law is very thorough and takes care of her patients
I have never had an issue coming here except insurance billing. But today I came in and genuinely am not sure how this hygienist is still employed here. First of all her tone was off and short to begin with, but that’s fine everyone has bad days. The real issues were her trying to tell me I needed to get my wisdom teeth out by now and then trying to tell ME that they are very painful and the roots are so strong now that I need to get them taken out.
