I always had something wrong but after switching to another dentis I seam to have good checks ups!
I got pre-authorization for some deep cleaning. It's almost $1,000 WITH my insurance ($3,000 total)!! I dunno who these people think they are. Charging $220.00 to deep clean ONE tooth!! My husband is livid. I will be changing dentists!
My husband had a tooth extracted by Dr.Byrd at the end of October. We have dental insurance but we still recieved a bill with a remaining balance of $85.06. I didn't recieve a bill until December and by January it was turned over to collections which added an additional $61.08 in interest charges. This was a basic tooth extraction that is going to end up costing us $146.14 out of pocket. Dr. Byrds office is always available and gives exceptional service. Even when I had no insurance, I came back for emergencies. Now that I have insurance again, I am back for regular visits. Thanks to all of you at dr. Byrds for giving my family your best!
