He makes us feel comfortable and like family.
Going into this appointment, I was recommended by a friend that had family members attend but she was never treated by him personally. As a young female, I was desperate to find a gyno that would take me serious as I had unfair treatment elsewhere. The fact he is in a private office was initially sketchy to me. The staff is very nice & I only saw female staff. My first pregnancy after losing a child so naturally, I was nervous and concerned. He screamed at me that clearly I wasn’t ready to be a parent because I didn’t trust him 100% and that he was going to put it in my file that I shouldn’t be a parent because I questioned him. When I went into delivery, he came in and screamed at the nurse for calling him because he was in the middle of a sporting activity that he didn’t want to leave to deliver a baby. i don’t know if he’s losing it because he’s getting old but he was super nice then one day he completely snapped and freaked out on me because of a playful banter the same we had had during every appointment. i had two miscarriages before that pregnancy so i would detach and make jokes and not be very serious because i was so scared for my appointments worried i would find out i was losing my son too. he completely verbally attacked me, turned red. i never returned after that appointment. would never recommend. nurses were s... read more
He was kind when delivering my children, but when I needed to have surgery he totally botched it and I have pain during sex. When I asked him about it he got red in the face with angry with me.
Has always treated me with sincere care and respect. Dr. Byington has helped us during our “fun/happy” deliveries as well as during the devastating loss of our daughter. Best doctor ever.
Very friendly, takes his time and the staff are great.
I will never recommend him to anyone. I'm lucky my son was born alive.
