So I waited an extra week for my daughters hair appointment after being forced to re-schedule due to Buzz’s website being incorrect. This was supposed to be her first real salon experience today. She was so excited. We get there, and they say “Your appointment was at 4”. Now it wasn’t. I don’t get off of work until 4. I would NEVER have scheduled it at 4. Mayson is an amazing colorist.
First I’d like to mention that our stylist, Tim Castor, did a wonderful job. No complaints whatsoever about his work. The salon, however, is extremely disorganized and very poorly run IMO. They must have a high degree of turnover and no management oversight to ensure a smooth transition between employees. Heaven help you if you book a few months out for a special event. The stylist may no longer work there and they will drop the ball getting you rebooked. This happened to us for our wedding trial. Ok fine. Stuff happens. But... read more
I can’t possibly say enough great things about Buzz — I had my first appt today with Breanna, and it was truly the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. She was so friendly, patient, and INCREDIBLY knowledgeable. My hair looks immensely healthier already 💜
Every stylist is amazing .our entire company went for 'make-overs' and we each received the best hair cuts, styles , colors, and products for individual needs like overly curly hair and came out ...our best beautiful selves..will definitely return. Thank you Buzz your the best!!
Frankly, I’ve never had a bad haircut from any of the many Iowa City barbers and stylists who’ve cut my hair and trimmed my beard. But George of Buzz Salon is clearly the very best!
