We’ve been slummed!!!! Now I know why we were approved for a very expensive 2 tiny bedroom and no closet space apartment for 2200 plus all utilities! Because nobody else wants it. But we couldn’t get correspondence until after we paid for it! Pressure sale! Back against the wall so the kids wouldn’t be homeless in anchorage. Ashly used a time stall tactic! My heat was not working. I contacted the "emergency maintenance line" and despite being told by text (you will not actually talk to a person) that the issue was being escalated it has been 4 days and no one was contacted me. I guess having no heat in Alaska does not constitute an emergency.
I have been renting an apartment with Buyers Real Estate Property Management since December 2023. Since moving in the first week, we have experienced pest issues, specifically bed bugs and German cockroaches. To my knowledge, our apartment is the only one that has been treated, and we have received about 3 to 5 treatments since we moved in. However, many other apartments have had minimal treatment due to scheduling issues, allowing pests to continue migrating back into our apartment.
