I read great reviews about Dr. Schmidt but terrible things about the office staff and thought I was prepared for that when I called to make my first appointment (also had trouble getting through weeks earlier). Boy was I wrong. Impatient, ignorant and absolutely unwilling to help in any way. As a recent transplant from NYC, I was confused by the requirement for a referral from a doctor as I never needed that in NY. Dr. Schmidt is an amazing Dr. but the office staff and communication leaves much to be desired. I could list all the problems I've had with but I'll just list my biggest pet peeve... they don't even have call waiting!
Dr Schmidt is amazing and I have been going to her for well over a decade. The phone staff however can have a less then pleasant manner.
