Stopped by for the first time and will not be my last! I got the Texas Stack sandwich that comes with brisket and sausage! The brisket had a great smoke ring around the meat as well as a great bark! The potato salad was also super tasty! Glad my dad told me about this place! Sooooo gooooood!
Road trip to South Texas with Linda Joyce Stapp Walkoviak treated me to two outstanding Texas BBQ experiences! I got my Texas Monthly BBQ passport stamped at Smoliks, TM top 50 BBQ joint. But, the best surprise was Andrew Soto's Butter's BBQ at the corner of San Patricio and Texas 359. Brisket was moist with just the right amount of smoke.
