Though it was an hour before closing, there was no coffee and our cupcakes, though good, were pretty dry and nothing special. I wouldn’t make an effort to go back, sadly. The baked goods down the street at Common Grounds are better!
While walking through downtown Apex with my kids Buttercream’s was our last stop. The staff was very friendly and the treats were great. My kids got a strawberry cupcake and a chipwhich filled with buttercream which they both raved about. I have 2 macaroons - which I highly recommend. Nutella and Lavender. Amazing.

Had many flavors of their cupcakes at my child's birthday party, and cupcakes were loved by all. Rich frosting. Loved interacting with the store owner and clerk when we went in. Fun to stop in with the kids for a treat.
