Spouse wanted waffle, so decided to give it a try here. First off, 3% "service charge" on a take-out order is absurd. The workplace hierarchy seems inefficient and odd too, waited 10 mins just to place a take-out order, the hostess and a lady manager wouldn't step in to help; yes, there was no line I was the only one in the door. Eventually some waitress lady took her little iphone gadget to help me place the order Ordered 1/ Waffle + chicken, chicken was dry, not very well seasoned 2/ regular Pancake was good
Loved their flavor options for their beverages! We tried the Lavendar honey cream cold brew which had a wonderful subtle flavor. We also had the cardamom rose latte, perfect ratio of both flavors! I had to try the butter and jam board and it was a great sharing option, the biscuits were my favorite part. I think I’m come back just for the biscuits, jams, and butter.
Been coming for years now and today I experienced the worst service ever. We were seated outside and within 20 mins, I had to asked the hostess twice if the waitress is coming. She finally came and took our order with an attitude. When the food arrived it was missing the fries that came with the sandwich, my salad didn’t have the chicken I ordered and we asked two different waitresses to refill our water bottles and was ignored. A friend and I had a lovely breakfast! Delicious food enjoyed in a pleasant airy atmosphere and expertly served by Yusuf. Looking forward to returning soon.
