Dewy was the absolute best bartender! He was so sweet! Adored him to death. He made my favorite off menu martini with no complaints!!
This place is special. From the hand stuffed blue cheese olives. I don't even like blue cheese and those things are special. If Martini is not your thing, they have a fantastic bourbon selection and multiple tastings of several different high-end Bourbons. The ambiance is fantastic. Definitely feels like you're somewhere else. Highly recommend!
I’m from the Chicago metro and travel quite a bit to medium sized cities in the Midwest and south. Butler’s is way overpriced for what it is. Twenty something dollars for a mediocre Elijah Craig old fashioned? That's not reasonable. The first ones even came with dive bar maraschino cherries. Nice, chill atmosphere. I don't go to bars often, but I didn't feel weird here. And the staff served us at our seats, so i enjoyed having the choice to not stand at the bar and wait.
