Used to eat here back in college and just ate there again 20 years later and still has great food. Chopped beef sandwich is my favorite
I had the brisket and spicy sausage plate with fried green tomatoes and potato salad, my wife had the chicken fried steak. She really liked hers, no major complaints. Mine was okay, but not super great. The brisket (it was more like sliced steak) had a small smoke ring and no crust. It had a good flavor but was covered in sauce before it got to me. Where do I begin? I'm tired of getting burned food. I'm tired of getting cold food, and I'm tired of getting the wrong food. And then they put a sign up stating that if they screw up the order to go and I don't check it before I leave it's my fault so tough luck. You guys used to be good and you cared about a quality product. What happened?
