Purchased their lobster roll at the Whitby food truck festival, and left very disappointed. I don’t mind paying top dollar for a good quality lobster roll, I understand it’s a premium item. The bun was only slightly bigger than a dinner roll, I expect most lobster rolls to be similar to a hot dog bun size. Majority of the meat was just shredded, it appeared to me to be frozen canned lobster meat, with a few fresh chunks mixed in.
I would suggest when serving at a festival, do not shrinkflation. This is not a review on the food taste or texture. For this particular item, taste was as expected however the portion was kiddie size. Again, this food truck offers very tasty food and if I didn't have this issue, this would be one of my go to seafood establishments. Their caterings are the best, good prices and the food is delicious, always hot. They also have a restaurant which is really good the food. Lobster grill cheese one my favourites. Strongly recommended
