They are absolutely amazing and work miracles. My car had been having issues for a while and no one could figure it out. They kept having me replace different things in my car, but nothing was working. Gary took less than two minutes to observe my car and noticed one thing right off the bat. They kept my car for observation did a diagnostic and helped me figure out different things I needed to do for my car but cleaned some wires replaced some wires fixed my security system. Good shop. Too many places the owner is a business man, not a good mechanic. Here the owner is a well trained and experienced mechanic who understands cars. Good staff too - people that know what they're doing. We've been taking our cars here for over twenty years. They don't do unnecessary work, and the work they do is professional quality. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.
Bussards Automotive is one of those places that just feels different, in a good way. They're people first. Every time I go in, it feels like they're looking out for me, not just the car. White glove service, but without any of the attitude. Having a trusted mechanic in Los Angeles is a blessing. They're AAA approved, and the work is consistently solid and thorough. Cannot recommend highly enough! Came in with a mystery car engine issue that I wanted to get checked out before a road trip. Arrived just before closing on a Saturday. They ran the codes and couldn't find anything, then Gary offered to drive my car around the block to see what's going on.
