Worthless and Pathetic As others have written, zero stars is the appropriate score. I noticed an ad one day for a job in the newspaper that looked worth applying for. Worst agency I have dealt with If you are looking for any kind of job other than temporary office work then these guys AREN'T for you.
Unsatisfied I've worked with many temporary agencies.
Average recruiter You can expect your recruiter to find you a few interviews, but the positions usually won't be exactly what you're looking for. The recruiters get paid for finding you a job, so there's always the chance that they put their interests before yours and try to stick you in jobs that you don't want. I was offered a job from an interview they got me, but it wasn't what I was looking for and I felt like the recruiter resented me because I didn't accept the job.
GET IN LINE AND HOPE FOR THE BEST Business Careers of Seattle was a dissapointment. I made an appointment and made my way to their office where I had to pay almost $10 to park my car. After that I was sent to fill out endless forms and be called in for a quick chat about my experience. I felt like a number. Not only that, the person who was trying to help me find a job quit the next day and after that it seemed like nobody cared about my qualifcations or experience. I would NOT go back to this office ever again.
Get a Job! Unlike most of the agencies around, the recruiters at Business Career work hard to secure individuals full-time, permanent jobs that fit both their skills and preferences. Only two weeks after a thourough interview with one of their was recruiters, I was prepped and sent on 3 interviews, one of which landed me in my current position at a lawfirm downtown. Oh, and its free for us job seekers!
Great resource Business Careers is a great resource to help you in your career planning and your job hunt. I worked with Daniel Barlean a while back and he was very encouraging, helpful, and effective. Within two days, he had me set up on an interview. By the end of the week, I had up to three interviews scheduled. All of the jobs were great positions in successful and building companies. They take the time to get to know your skills and goals at Business Careers which in turn help them to find the perfect job fit for you.
