Michael has an excellent attention to detail. Not just in the haircut and shave service (and I opted for the full meal deal, Shogun’s VIP Package)…he takes great care of his tools. If you’ve ever had a clipper pull or that sound in your ear that lets you know those clippers are past their service due date, you know what I mean. I had such a fantastic experience with Michael! From the moment I sat in his chair, I could tell how knowledgeable he is about hair health. He took the time to really assess my hair, explain what it needed, and recommend a deep conditioning treatment that made an immediate difference. My partner scheduled this appointment as a surprise for Father's Day and I went in not knowing what to expect. I was absolutely blown away. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic and the end result far exceeded my expectations. I will be telling anyone and everyone to check this place out for any and all of their hair related needs and eagerly await the time I need to go back again.
My hair is very thick and difficult to work with and I hadn't had it cut in nearly a year. I asked Mike for a cut based on an old photo of me and he did a great job! He's very detail oriented and honestly impressed me.
I came by today, had an appointment set for 2:30. It's like I found a hidden gem, an amazing barber who cut it exactly to my reference photo. He takes his time so anyone who reads this review just fyi, which is a good thing. I'd rather a barber take his time and hone his craft than a barber that rushes. I will be coming again. 10/10 haircut, 10/10 price.
