This area so far has been very safe, from rowdiness and bad weather, both. We are in like "a good weather pocket" here. The bad weather seems to bypass us for the most part. That's one good thing about thus whole area. The worst weather starts towards the southern border of the state and runs southward. The apartments are spacious and attractive.

I spent one year at Burton's Landing apartments. I loved my unit. The only exception was that I was able to hear the scurrying of my upstairs neighbor's pet clearly, which was annoying, but not the end of the world. The apartment was a bit dated, but my appliances worked perfectly. I had a first floor unit, which was nice because it meant easy access to the laundry room. I lived at this property for 11 years. Someone had to be pleased to have stayed for so long.

Edit: I did talk with the property manager and we discussed noise situation further. She is very nice and understanding. I do appreciate her taking the time to call and reassuring us about the process for noise complaints. I appreciate Melanie's time and effort so have updated to 4 stars due to her kindness. Thank you
