Excellent brisket sandwich. Beans were among the best any place. Quick service. Transparent workers preparing food, you can see them making your food! Busy crowd eating. Good prices!
Anywhere outside of KC this is a four-star que joint, but this is the big leagues. Why come here? Beans and their barbecue sauces are both rockin, but that's like watching Back to the Future II for the extras hanging out at the soda shop. Cole slaw isn't bad, but it isn't the wow of Q39, more Jack's-lite. Smoke is the thing, and there's just not a very impressive Smokey taste to their brisket is you eat it straight. Tonight was the 1st time we’ve been. We ordered a pound of burnt ends, hickory pit beans and Texas toast. The food was OUTSTANDING!! It’s hard to find good burnt ends. Let alone a place that specializes in them. It was so good. We had to get a another pound of them to go. Lol The service was very friendly and welcoming. Love the open kitchen and the whole atmosphere in general. Very clean restaurant. Wish I could give MORE than 5 stars.
Really EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE from a young lady named Allison, I'm from STL, was in town for a short "overnight" and LOVE burnt ends, to find a RESTAURANT that is NAMED burnt ends thrilled me to no end! Was able to get a quick taste, enough to inspire me to place a large order, quite the variety of items, to bring back to St. Louis. Great food, great people!! Allison is AMAZING!
BBQ was okay in my book. Portion sizes of sides were incredibly small for the price. Not my first choice.
This place has amazing food!! Large portions, great prices! Staff is friendly and courteous, everything was neat and clean. One of my new favorite places!
