Just as good as the old Haywards
Not much food for the price.
Food is always great. However, the customer service last night was beyond disappointing. We usually love coming here, but last night we were shocked with how the man taking our order treated us. He was extremely rude, impatient, and acted as if we were bothering him. It really put a damper on our dinner, especially for our guests visiting out of state. We came into town to celebrate my little sister graduating. She and my brother talked this restaurant up the whole day. We got there for dinner and the smell was phenomenal. I stood behind my mother as she ordered and she asked the man “the build a bowl comes with cornbread correct?” The man said “no.” She was confused and pointed out that the menu directly behind his head stated the build a bowl meal came with cornbread AND 2 sides. Best in KC. The ‘big names’ are overrated and sloppy, really do not know why this place doesn’t make the best of’s.
My uncle said Burnt End was his favorite barbeque, so I had to check it out. Wow! THE best burnt end sandwich I've ever had. The fries were pretty good as well. I'm definitely going back!
This place is awesome I will go again when we are in town Again or maybe have them ship to me.
