My partner and I called this place in mid July to ask how much it would cost to put a hitch on his Volkswagen Tiguan. The man working told us that it was “$275 for the hitch only and $375 for the hitch plus wiring.” Volkswagen had quoted us at a much higher price so it was a no brainer that we go with Burnsville Hitch. The owner is a thief! He charged me $744.00 for a plug and play brake controller that should have been no more than $ 300.00 tops!
RecommendedMy experience with Burnsville Hitch was nothing but positive. The work was done as expected, the staff was very helpful and communicated well. I would recommend them to family an friends without hesitation.
BUYER BEWARE!! Went in on 3/7 to have one of my trailer lights fixed as I needed it that night and didn't have the time to do it myself. These guys put in 4 butt splices and taped up my pig tale and charged me $300. Total rip off!!! GET AN ESTIMATE FIRST!!
Yesterday I purchased a tongue jack for my camper. When I got it home I realized it was the wrong style. I called the owner and asked him if I could return it. He replied, "Yes". I brought it back the same day and he charged me a 10% restocking fee! It was in the same packaging that I bought it in with a receipt. He literally tuned around and put it back on the self that he took it off the hours before. I guess if there is a alternative to BTH go somewhere else.
They got me in this morning and it was ready this afternoon. Put a class III hitch and wiring - all the things I needed and saved 1 grand over the dealer. Good service and friendly people. Parts were available and made locally too.
My dad went in to get his speakers done. The tech fried the computer on the truck. Mistakes happen, I get it. My dad was told to take it to a dealer where they would pay for it to get fixed. Nope, didn't happen. Totally avoiding paying for this almost $500 mistake. Please be a decent human and fix this mistake.
Great service. Highly recommended. Totally took care of us and our new trailer.
Very bad experience. Extremely rude. Dropped the vehicle off. Got a call a short time later that there was dried mud and they couldn't do work on it that way. Fair enough, but the guy was so rude about it that we just picked it up and took our $1000 job somewhere else.
