I collected a relative after surgery - and had to share a review about the wonderful receptionist, who went above and beyond. The patient was delayed for another hour, and the receptionist found me reading material. Later, she phoned the pharmacy to ask if they'd stay open a moment longer while I waited for the scripts, and she showed me the way. Absolutely wonderful; friendly; and supportive, which is just what hospital staff should be. Thank you!

I recently underwent two surgeries at Burnside Stepney under the care of Dr Tom Gieroba and could not have been happier with the care I received. Dr Gieroba was professional, reassuring and took the time to thoroughly explain each procedure, which gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the process. Everyone mentioned how good the nurses and drs, and theatre staff are and rightly so, I've been a patient for many years firstly sportsmed hospital now Burnside and let's also give recognition to the chefs and kitchen staff, food is excellent and very generous. Good nutrition is as important as good care.

Over the years, I have had several significant procedures under different surgeons at the Sports-med (now Burnside-Stepney) Hospital. I have had bilateral Total Knee Replacements and bilateral Reverse Shoulder Replacements, as well as al the arthroscopes in between, and I have never felt vulnerable or worried about the procedures.
