Friday 16 Jan, I attended the day surgery for a Thumb Joint replacement & stabilisation. The addmitting nurses, Steven & Natalie were so professional, calm & relaxed, making the process easy & stressless. Dr Nick Wallwork (surgeon), Dr Tom Fox (anaesthetist) & the theatre staff were extremely good at making me feel relaxed about the upcoming surgery. Could not fault a thing. All staff, but especially the nurses, never forgot that their routine workday was my first time experience: their calm friendliness, full, clear explanations, and delightful kindness made my day surgery experience almost a pleasure! The great working relationship and mutual respect between them and my (excellent) surgeon and anaesthetist was clearly evident, and added to my sense of comfort and security throughout my stay. Pre- and post- surgery instructions were also clear and comprehensive.

I was in overnight for ankle surgery and what a fantastic experience. ALL staff, Dr Fisher and anesthesiologist Dr McDonald were absolutely amazing in the care and service they provided. Surgery commenced at 1130 as stated and I was seen by both doctors before entering the theatre. I was listened to and any information was provided in layman’s terms. I went in for shoulder surgery. 100 out of 100 All the Nurses were extremely helpful, kind, friendly and very caring. Administration staff are the best. The theatre staff were magnificent The Anaethestists and Anaethestists assistant wonderful. My surgeon Dr Alexander was absolutely would highly recommend. The complete hospital is magnificent.
