Dr Burns is great - always very patient & kind. And my prescriptions are always accurate. Can be hard to get an apt as he is so popular but worth it
Horrible. This doctor has really poor bedside manner (in this case, chair side manner). He was short with me as I asked questions, and while he is soft-spoken, he came off as rude. I was there to update both glasses and contacts prescriptions, and with my Arizona dry eye issues, instead of helping me figure out a solution, he just told me to “quit wearing contacts.” When I questioned him to help find a solution for contacts, he closed the conversation. Just a delightful experience. Although I only needed to have my contact prescription updated Dr Burns did a thorough exam and explained everything he saw in my eyes. He also educated me about what the puff test and results were all about. I will be sending my husband to see him soon!
My 10 year old daughter has a grey spot on the white of her eye. I was very concerned and made an appointment with Dr. Burns. We were seen right away, and he pointed out that it was just a vein and nothing to worry about, and gave her an eye test at the same time. I was relieved! I walked out to pay, and Dr. Burns said there would be no charge for his service, which was amazing! Great Doctor!!!
I saw Dr Burns almost 2 years ago, in hopes that he could either help me or recommend me to someone who could. I have strabismus and although glasses can help, sometimes surgery is the only option for real results. I still had poor vision in my right eye to which he said he “didn’t have a prescription for” I felt as though, because I had done some research myself on my eye problems, he was annoyed and sent me away with nothing. No prescription or recommendation whatsoever just a $70+ visit. -.-
