We had to change our insurance policy and she is now out of network for us, which breaks our hearts! We love Dr. Burns. She is very personable. She does not rush your visit and makes sure you are able to ask as many questions as you need to. This is our first baby so we have lots of questions! We were so comfortable with her. She is thorough and knowledgable. We highly recommend her. Her staff is great and they even let me stay in the room after our appointment to breastfeed.
Excellent clinical skills. Good judgement, not afraid to do things differently, compassionate. She asks lots of questions, and knows how to explain things in layman's terms so that I can understand. Recognizes that the doctor and parent are partners, and educates parent and child as she goes.
