I would highly discourage anyone from selecting Dr. Burns as their doctor. I saw Dr. Burns for a prostate diagnosis and her bedside manners were poor (to say the least). She was not personable, and made me feel uncomfortable throughout the whole process. Seeing another doctor made my experience immediately a lot better. I highly recommend against selecting her as your doctor.

Straight-forward, to the point, not touch feely. Most would not prefer her bedside manner, unless you prefer a matter of fact persona. She doesn't do bad work, however, as she successfully completed separate procedures on my son, and myself.

Wow where do I start. When I come out of recovery and notice a family member in tears and believe me they are not happy tears these were angry upset tears it makes me absolutely disgusted. Doctor I have been dealing with people my whole life as well. From being a former cop, paramedic, firefighter to engineer. And frankly you are not much older than I am. I couldn't believe that a doctor would go as far as being snippy, rude, and down right disrespectful. I would love to discuss with you.

Dr. Burns recently HAD my elderly grandmother as a patient. She treated her with much disrespect and ZERO dignity. She was rude to her, and when my grandmother voiced her concerns, Dr. Burns response made her feel stupid and did not listen to her concerns. We have since found wonderful care for her with a different clinic, but I would hate to see anything happen to anyone else or a loved one! I hope when you are in your 90's Dr. Burns, you are treated with the same dignity as you have provided!

Dr. Burns demonstrates poor bedside manner, lacking any signs of empathy or kindness. She barely introduced herself when she barked at me, "Why are you here?" And then didn't even let me finish my sentence before continually interrupting me in a patronizing manner. She never once asked me how my condition was affecting my quality of life and did not seem to care that I was in pain. She rushed me through the entire (10 minute) appointment and left me feeling like I wasted my time.

If you want to feel like you are completely wasting her time & you're questions are down right stupid, then this is the Dr for you. With a recent cancer diagnosis, we were advised to also see a urologist. After leaving the apt with her, we felt like we were idiots for even scheduling. I think she was eating her lunch, even though we had an apt, because she was chewing food when we came in. She seemed to be in a big hurry & spoke fast with a sharp tone leaving us feeling flustered.

My son went into the emergency room with Testicular torsion, she was the on call Dr. She came in examined him and immediately said this is the issue there is not much time do you have questions? All I said was help him and i will have lots of questions later. She answered them all in surgery recovery room. Straight and to the point no touchy feely.
