I’m new to Austin and my move in experience at Burnet Flats has been pretty smooth. The front office team has been helpful, and very accommodating throughout the process. Zakia made me feel at home from the first tour, taking the time to show me the exact unit I now live in and sharing helpful tips about the area. I recently had the pleasure of working with Zakia in the front office. I’d viewed a few other complexes in the area and was almost set on another property until I toured with Zakia. Her relatability and genuine interest in what I was looking for made me feel so seen and looked out for. I’m a detail oriented person and like to get as much information as possible - we emailed for a several days and she was so patient and answered all of my questions. I’m so excited to be apart of the Burnet Flats community!
I both like and dislike the QR code entry directory. It is fairly straightforward and easy-to-use, but at the same time it feels sort of weird also. I have used MANY variations of remote entry in Austin. This is the first time I have encountered this particular method. Its also the first time I had mixed feelings about such a product. They told me I would get $378 of my deposit back in July. It’s now October and they haven’t given it back yet. I’ve been in contact with them for a while now and they don’t seem to care about getting it back quickly. They don’t get back to us about this. We are constantly contacting them asking. They are far past the point of violating Texas law.
