Roasted On-Site The coffee is 100% Fair Trade Certified and is roasted in their shop. The place is beautiful and the coffee is authentic. They have music on the weekends and Open Mic on Thursday nights starting at 7:30pm.
I love this place Stop going to the other big name coffee spot and do your taste buds a favor and stop at Burlap and Bean. The coffee, tea and hot chocolate is out of this world. You will be back again and again.
It's fine, but not spectacular The coffee is fair trade and roasted on-site, but beyond that, I haven't found anything beyond average at this independently-owned coffee shop that sits in the middle of a heinous shopping strip in a very out of the way location. I suppose if you're a tea fanatic, you'd like the fact that they tell you exactly how long to brew your tea - and then offer a timer - but it was just too much for me. Fair trade coffee roasted on site! What else is there to say-it is extremely rare to find fair trade coffee in a coffee shop, much less roasted on the spot! You can taste the difference too! Only con: it's not close enough to where I live to enjoy it often enough!
Superior tasting coffee! I find the coffee to be full flavored and robust. I can only imagine that this is because it is roasted on site. The fact that it is fair trade too is a bonus. The atmosphere is cozy and it's a great place to get some work done using the free wifi.
