Dr Burke is very professional and very personable. She takes her time with the visit and provides valuable advice on what products to use and what not to use to avoid a rosacea flare up as well as other advice regarding melanoma and other health issues.
She seems to know what she's talking about, but she's ALWAYS hugely behind on appointments. You think you're safe with an early morning appointment, but then get screwed sitting around for over an hour waiting. Meanwhile, she's chatting it up with the patient friend nextdoor for over 15 minutes about non-dermatology related matters!! Very disrespectful of patient's time.
Dr. Burke is the only reason my husband is alive. She has been his doctor since she was at Johns Hopkins (26 years ago). He sees her a few times a year and we trust her. It is not her job to be entertaining - it's to save your life.
Horrible Dr. She needs to find another occupation. She is not friendly, done right rude. My mother and I both went there, my mother several times me once, and myself nor my mom never again ! She talked down to both of us like we were a child, does not listen to concerns. More interested in see you naked, then listening and addressing concerns
Horrible!!! She sent an assistant in to take stitches out and the assistant never told me what she was doing just started pulling on my stitches on an extremely sensitive area and then got mad at me for screaming in pain! Then they acted like I was the problem because I didn’t want that person touching me! Not to mention when Burke FINALLY came in (after over an hour And half wait) she wanted to argue with me and each time I asked legitimate questions with proof I had she had no response just silence or changed the subject! ... read more
Never on time with appointments. Front desk staff is not friendly and truly doesn’t care about patients. Horrible customer service from first walk in until you reach the doctor. The first girl has no clue how to ensure patient privacy. The second “checkout” or “billing”girl has no customer decency. First time waited over 2 hours with NOONE telling me anything and second time was told it would be a hour “or so” wait depending on how long she takes with other patients. Knowledgeable and patient. I trust her. She's great.
Not good. She doesn't really listen to your concerns and I felt very rushed. I did not discuss all my concerns with her because she was abrupt and told me that I had to have a full body exam on my next visit. NOT going to happen. I waited over an hour and a half to see her, and then felt she had no patience with me.
She’s extremely mean and says the most bizarre things. She does NOT listen to the patient at all and actually yelled at me when I tried to explain something to her! What she says goes and everyone else is below her. She went off on tangents and was downright offensive at times. I will never go back to this woman.
