I highly recommend Inia at Burginger Stained Glass. Not only is she an artist with a great eye for beauty, she is a professional and just a down right nice person. Inia did a house number for me that turn out very special for my family home. The whole process from Inia coming out to take meticulous measurements, to going to her studio to pick out the colors and textured glass, and to her installing our stained glass herself was a pleasure. This turned out way better than I imagine. Can't wait to have more made!
Inia designed, cut, and installed five separate stained glass panels behind a bank of five skylight windows -- hummingbirds on interwoven vines with flowers on a trellis. The work is exquisite, and the birds are alive with light, and gave a whole new atmosphere to our north-facing apartment. In addition to being first-class artist, Inia was a supreme professional, who listened closely to our needs, devising unique solutions for our unique problems.
Inia fixed a broken leaded glass panel in the entry way of my house in Washington DC. She was able to come take out the window, put in a nice looking piece of temporary glass, and come back and install the fixed glass in a very short amount of time for a very reasonable price. She definitely cares about her work and the new glass panel looks beautiful in the entry way. I really appreciate everything she did and this glass should be good for many many years and nice and sealed for the winter. Highly recommend
Inia was incredible. She repaired a stained glass torchiere lamp for us that my father had made some 20+ years ago. It looks better than new. She worked hard to match the work he'd done and made it even stronger and better. She's a delight to work with, more than fair prices, and great work. She is a real find.
