I have been under the care of Dr.Burgess and her staff for 2+ years.During this time , she, the nurses, physicians assistant and support staff have treated me with kindness and utmost care.These professionals are impeccable. How fortunate to have Hillman CancerCenter so close by and receive the brilliant research and minds in fighting this disease. Heroes definitely do work here!
If you like hearing that your "specialist doesn't know alot about sarcoma and it's tricky and It could be this or it might that." Then this is your Dr. 6mos. 3 different overdoses of chemo and she sent my Fiance home to die. With this parting statement. "So sorry you had to go through this..." And not even a referral.
As a nurse who worked with Dr Burgess in clinic and behind the scenes, she is second to none when it comes to intelligence, caring, and work ethic for each and every patient. She will strive to deliver the best care possible and delivers really difficult scenarios with a caring heart. Proud to have worked with her
Dr. Burgess, Alexandra Spallone Pa and Anna Murphy RN are the most compassionate, caring, and professional staff that you can have. They have made a horrible diagnosis into so much hope for me. I went there not knowing what to expect to a great game plan for treatment. I can never thank you enough.
