I just learned that your business is not allowing armed officers to bring their firearms (also a Park Ranger with a Taser) into the restaurant. I have been to the Val Vista location dozens of times. This is absolutely ridiculous. I love it when I see armed officers in resturants because I know they will put their lives on the line to protect me. A friend of mine was denied entrance to the Mesa restaurant. He was a ON-DUTY Law Enforcement Officer, in uniform, with his duty weapon. He was denied entry because he had on his duty weapon. He told to put his weapon in his vehicle or he had to leave. As a retired Law Enforcement Officer I have NEVER had this happen. I find this unacceptable behavior and asking fellow LEO’s boycott the restaurant!!
