Dr. Burger treated me for a corneal ulcer, a serious condition. Thanks to her prompt diagnosis and care it healed quickly. But what impressed me most was her professional manner. She took the time to write - in a legible hand no less - directions on how to take the prescribed medications. Most professional, but very caring!
I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Burger as my ophthalmologist. I have a rare vasculitis that could have lead to blindness. It didn't. Dr. Burger's technical expertise was apparent as she was more familiar with my condition than most medical personnel, provided appropriate targeted care, and showed a great deal of compassion. I was most appreciative of how she explained the medical logic of each approach she was taking. I feel very safe under her care.
