RecommendedI had been told to visit the shop by another violinist and I needed my chin rest replaced because all the others I had tried just didn’t work. It turns out that they had the exact same model that was on my violin - was I Happy? Oh yeah! I was amazed. Then I found out from Nicholas his Dad had passed. The best experience that I've ever had at a music shop!
Recently accompanied a student and her family to purchase her first full-size cello and we had nothing short of a PHENOMINAL experience with Wayne Burak! We came in for a student model cello and he spent several hours with us to find the perfect instrument for her. He swapped strings on instruments for a true comparison, (yes, the quality of the strings can matter!) brought out a variety of bows for her to try, and best of all, respected the family's price point. Great people to get to know! Nick went out of his way to schedule with us, and was a joy to see interact with my son while choosing a new cello and bow. It took quite some time, and he answered every question ( I'm sure the same questions he hears every day) with a smile. He gave positive encouragement to my son all along the way.
What an amazing find, Wayne Burak & Associates are outstanding. Nicholas went above and beyond to fit my daughter with not just any cello but an exceptional cello which was perfect for her. Two thumbs way up for Wayne Burak & Associates!
